Tarun Arora is an Indian male model turned actor who works in Bollywood films. He started his acting career with a cameo in the film, Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. After working in several low-budget films, he received recognition for his role in Jab We Met.

Arora was studying hotel management in Bangalore when he developed an interest in modeling. He won the Gladrags Manhunt in 1998. After that he continued to pursue a career in modelling to become one of the most famous male models of his time. He was seen in advertisement campaigns for brands like Raymond, Westside, Kwality Walls, McDowell’s whiskey, and LG, and walked the runway for several designers. He has also acted in many hit music videos.
Arora filmed his first Bollywood role in 1999, a cameo in Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi. He had his first major role in the movie Hawas. During the next three years, he performed in several low-budget films like Sheen (2004), 19 Revolutions (2004), Men Not Allowed (2006), and Ghuttan (2007), but unfortunately none of these managed to make any impact for him.
In 2007, he performed in the film, Jab We Met, in which he played the role of Kareena Kapoor's lover who rejects her and comes back, only to get rejected himself. The film was a major hit on the box office.
In 2009, two films: 2 and Love Gurureleased'.[1]
Currently owner of successful ventures - an indian restaurant named "Tandoori Hippie" and lounge "Love Shack" in Bangalore which opened in Feb 2011
